"Can someone please provide documentation on how the Moderate Comments feature works? Where and how do unmoderated comments get reviewed?" I note there is no link to the "Comment Management" section in the documentation table of contents.

Better definitions of what each role allows would be useful. It seems to me that "editors" really should be called "authors."

I have downloaded the code. I tried to open it in Visual Studio 2005 but is not opening as it says it is built with higher version of visual studio. can any one please give me solution for this?

Step 3, "Login and Setup your user name" The last two steps are in the wrong order. You must log out and log in as the new user before you can delete the default admin account.

On step 3, "Navigate to the web page" where the author says " You can also edit the default document to display to default.aspx using the IIS MMC snap-in...". I'm guessing this is the same as (or equivalent to) "load ISS, click on website>Properties>Documents tab> make sure 'Enable Default document' checked, add 'default.aspx' to list". If so, I found I needed to do this for the "Home" link to work on the blog wesbite - it wasn't optional. Sorry if this is obvious to some folks - maybe this should be a forum comment?

Regarding Step 3 > Add write permissions for App_Data folder: I feel obliged to point out that ASPNET is not the default application pool account under Windows 2003, it's NETWORK SERVICE. The ASPNET account is only used when running in IIS 5.0 isolation mode (which isn't a very likely configuration and should be avoided anyway).

Hi, why you recommend Here to use in a masterpage own list of widgets (Controls, right side)? Then there is no possibility to drag them and edit them in admin, right?

I have version 1.4.5 loaded at the moment and not using a database. I have noticed that the referres do not clear or reset after seven days as described above but the list just keeps growing. Is there a problem with this release and if not a way I can check that the data is cleared because I have been watching for a few weeks and the list just keeps growing. Also apologies if I shouldn't leave a question here, it just seems logical and no where else to do so. Many thanks!

I am new to BlogEngine and played around with the different features. One thing that got me confused and a bit frustrated is the Pages area. It allows you to associate a Parent page. Got excited first because I was hoping that it will show a url tag of ..../parent1/child1/child1.1 and so on. Apparently the Parent page does not have much meaning at all because all it does is just to provide a relationship and that's all. Perhaps I just don't understand much what is the main use of the Parent Page.
