Has it any consequences to a client if the blogengine think it is a possible spam?

In the referrer list "" is categorized as spam. I hope the RSS feed is deliviered anyway.

Are there any blocking facilities implemented yet? (for real spammers..)

Hey, Alex. The referrers that are listed as possible spam is not using a spam filter at all. It looks up the referrering webpage to see if there is a link to the blog. If there isn't, then it is marked as possible spam. So all dynamic widget pages such as or netvibes will be marked as possible spam.

There are no blocking filters and the RSS is not impacted in any way by possible spammers.

Ok.. thanks.. fine..

Mhmm.. for preventing comment spam your're using "invisible captcha", right?
But for "trackback spam"? - are you using this "is there a link on the trackbacking site"-check for that?

The invisible capcha is only used when the browser doesn't support AJAX and it falls back to regular postbacks. There is no need for the invisible captcha when AJAX is used, because robots cannot execute that.

For trackback spam protection we use the principles described here
