Split Post?

Greetings,

First - I am really excited by this engine. It looks to be really great. In going over it, with hopes at moving some blogs to your platform, I am curious about one feature some others have.

Specifically, is there a way to break up the post, so that on the main page the excerpt is shown and then you click to read the rest of it. The reason this is nice is when some posts are very long and/ or image heavy. If a person writes many long posts, without being able to break up the page it can be rather heavy and too long of a page. I know on systems like TypePad it often involves two editor blocks or a tag of some kind. Within Live Writer it is using the Format -> Split Post.

Is this already available? If not, is it planned? I have not yet delved into the code, so off the top of your head, do you think this would be difficult to implement?

Hi Ben,
there is very simple way to break up the post. Just use more tag in your post. Explained here: http://www.dotnetblogengine.net/file.axd?file=BreakLongPosts.wmv

Thank you lemonspoteu!

I am also interested in documentation regarding all of the tags.

Also, as a follow-up to the more, is there a setting to quickly change the text rendered from being more to something like "Click here to read more" etc?

Thanks!
