Wide tables badly handled

While there are some very attractive themes available, they do seem to rather rigid as to size of entry. I created an entry using a table some 736 pixels wide.

Themes with a right sidebar become basically unusable because the sidebar, while visible, appears to be wrapped underneath the entry. There is no horizontal scrollbar.

Themes with a left sidebar seem to work OK but the table runs off the right side of the graphic for the entry, typically into the contrastingly colored margin graphic.

Any easy workarounds/fixes? I particularly like DarkBlog but the right offerlap is offputting.

Try putting a float style on the sidebar:

<div id="sidebar" style="float:left">......</div>

As a quick fix, you can set body width to something like 1100px; it will effectively turn template into fixed size. This defeats whole fluidness, but it will work. I’ll try to find a better solution and update DarkBlog to use it.
