Default formating in pages

Feb 25, 2010 at 4:25 PM

Am I missing something? but I cant understand why my page items are not being formatted by default.

For example in a page  I use an UL . But the LI does not seem to have any formatting, so I have to go to the style sheet and insert #page li {margin-left: 20 px}, I also set a top margin for UL.

Also the <p> element is not styled so I get no break in paragraphs. ( I set the top margin to 17)

I have checked this in FF and IE

Is this correct ? any idea why ?

Is the entire blog unstyled?  Or just certain parts?  If it's just certain parts, that's most likely just a CSS issue.  There may be CSS rules in the CSS file to eliminate margins on paragraphs.

If you're using a custom theme, then try temporarily switching to the Standard theme to see if there's any formatting on that theme.  If there is formatting, then this would just be a matter of getting the CSS you want specified correctly in your theme's CSS file.

Thanks I found the error, I am working on a style sheet adapted from ver 1.5 and there was a css class for * that had no margins
