Hi there,

i love be.net so far except the missing profileprovider (one that can handle custom web.config-defined profile properties). As i see things so far there are three options:

  1. There might be a working implementation of a be.net profileprovider.
  2. I'll hack my own profileprovider.
  3. I'll use the default asp.net provider.

These options lead me to those questions:

  1. Is there a working implementation of a be.net profileprovider that i simply haven't found yet?
  2. As there is obviously no be.net profileprovider base class, how could i add support of this without having to touch anything of the original be.net code?
  3. Why does the asp.net configuration website does not offer me to set a profileprovider?

I hail to those who enlighten me...

Cheers,
Atze

Your you can add a link to a page (aspx) that should administer the profile, write the necessary logic and use ASP. For the present time it can serve.

Thanks, haven't really thought about that yet. Sounds like a quick and dirty solution ;)
