Please let me now how does the BlogEngine.NET schedules & retrieves a scheduled post?

I am talking about the logic, code and query that runs in the background to accomplish this task.

Thank You.

You're not understanding how it works. I've not looked at the code in a while, but this is how it used to work and it doesn't work significantly different now. You write a post and you date it for the future. At that point DNBE updates it's cache to have that post in memory. Then on each page load it retrieves the visible post for that given time. So if you have three post on your blog: Post 1 on 1/1/2010 5:00 AM Post 2 on 1/3/2010 5:00 AM Post 3 on 1/5/2010 5:00 AM Then you visit the site on 1/4 the visible post will only show the first two. However when you visit on 1/6 you will get all post. No process runs in the background, just that the 'visible' property and the date of the post are determined when returning the post list.
