What is Endorsement (bLink)?

Hi,

I'm new at BE.net 1.3. Unlike other blogging tools, BE.net uses terms unfamiliar with me. What does Endorsement (bLink) mean? Even though I have read BE.net wiki pages, http://www.dotnetblogengine.net/wiki/syndicationsetup.ashx, thousands of times, I couldn't get it.

According to the default value, it seems just like an RSS feed URL of the main BE.net blog page. Is that correct understanding?

Cheers,
Justin

I'm really new to the inner workings of RSS too.  I just discovered that it is part of an extension namespace that has been added to RSS.  See http://backend.userland.com/blogChannelModule... even though it does not provide a better explanation than the wiki.  My read is that you can point it to any blog you want to promote.  If you leave it blank, it will be ignored by the code.  (version 1.3)

Has anyone come up with the answer to this? I've searched and still don't have a clue to what it's for or what I should have in it for a setting.
