2.0 RC is include some case mismatch

Dec 11, 2010 at 2:10 AM

hi, I was try 2.0 RC on Linux server using Mono and I just noticed it.

some source codes using mismatch case rule. for example, "setup/*Web.Config"s, "Web.Config", "Account/Register.aspx.cs" and "Account/Login.aspx.cs" are included "login.aspx", but "Login.aspx" is correct (maybe).

the problem is not important for Windows filesystem(its ignore case). but, Linux filesystem is strict for case.

if someone can fix the case rule mismatches while 2.0 release, Linux users will a few happy :)

// its the first post on CodePlex, thank you.

Thanks for testing our the RC on Linux.

I just renamed all the files in the /Account folder so they are all lower-cased, and updated the links that point to them so they too are lower case.

I renamed all the Web.Config files throughout all the folders (about 6 of them) so they have the casing Web.Config (most were Web.config).  The last BE release (1.6) has Web.Config in the root folder, and I believe that is working OK in Linux.

These changes are in BE 2.0.0.16, available on the Source Code tab above.  The final release of BE 2.0 will of course include these changes.

I downloaded 2.0.0.16, and try running on the Linux environment.
It works fine without fix.

Thank you for your speedy support!
