Request.AnonymousID is null

Hello,

I need to use the Request.AnonymousID, and thus I have activated it by changing the config file

<anonymousIdentification enabled="true"/>

However, Request.AnonymousID is always null.

What else do I need to change in order to make this work? This is a pretty straightforward change when I make it on a new Website/Webapplication generated by VS2010

Thanks!

PS I'm using BE 2.0.0.36 on SQL server 2008

I've not used Request.AnonymousID before, but when I add <anonymousIdentification enabled="true" /> tag to the BE 2.0 web.config file, Request.AnonymousID is a non-null value (a GUID), but only when I'm not logged into the blog.  When I'm logged in, it is null ... then when I logout, it is a non-null value.
