GoDaddy and BE paths

I'm installing BlogEngine.net in a subfolder, and created a subdomain that points to it.

I've created virtual directory and set application root. BE is in root of that virtual directory.

For some reason, folder name is always appended to file path.

What is the reason for this?

Thanks.

This is a known issue for a long time.  It has to do with the URL rewriting technology that GoDaddy uses.

Fortunately, in this recent post, Mike who has been looking for a solution for a long time seems to have found a solution.

Thanks.

I created another subdomain and placed two simple aspx files with a link between them, but this way it works fine, I can't reproduce this issue.
