Server Error in Blog... Timeout issue??

Hello everyone:

Again, I am not a developer, but I'm responsible for my organization's blog. We're getting repeated instances of the following error. Is it something that can be repaired from the application side? Our not terribly helpful site management vendor says it's a timeout issue.

Server Error in '/Blog' Application.
