Hello there,

I have recently started to use BlogEngine.NET 2.0 and I am really really happy I found it for my blog.

My question is - I want to add a property to the "Posts" page in addition to the default properties like "Title", "Slug" etc.
Can somebody please help me out with the steps I need to follow for this. I have done this previously in Umbraco but am not sure HOW & IF i can do the same for blogengine?

Thanks a lot,

I have customized BlogEngine 2.0 to add some custom properties to Post and Page objects. You can take a look at how I did it.

Look for "Views" property in Post as an example.

I just finished documenting the process for adding an attribute for Pages, hopefully someone finds it of some use.

Adding a custom property to BlogEngine.NET posts

It covers adding a property to the Page object, as well as changing the UI code to access and load your new property. It should be extremely similar for pages.
