Hello all,

I have notice a big difference in PageLoad time between the two different versions of BlogEngine.net  BE 1.5 and BE 2.0

Why is this?  Using the same server and data.

How to speed up the load time of BE 2.0?

Any tips would be great!

Also is there a way to test the server to see if its the server itself and not BE?

Thanks,

What is the difference in Page Load time ?  How does your BE 2.0 compare to lets say the dotnetblogengine.net site page load time (which is also BE 2.0) ?

http://dnbegallery.org/preview running not optimized BE 2.0 scores 88 out of 100 on google speed test page (http://pagespeed.googlelabs.com). That's slightly behind google and stackoveflow, but in the same range as yahoo, wordpress.com/org and other highly optimized speedy sites. Same code on slower server will obviously run slower, my blog is in the mid 70th for example.
