Personnalize existing pages for different blogs

I use an old version of Blog Engine (1.4) and i would like to move to the latest one. I have 3 differents blog with 3 different theme that i've created myself.

Sometimes i made some changes to pages located in the root directory such as archive.aspx, search.aspx. Changes are HTML and are different according to the blogs. If i have modified these files it's because i had no other choice for having the result i would like. Now it seems, in BE 2.5, all these files are shared by the different blogs. This is a problem for me. For exemple, if i modify the html structure of search.aspx, this will be good for one blog but not for the others. With the old version it's not a problem because each blog have it's own copy of blog engine but i can't have the new functionalities of most recent version. So, is there a way to personnalize pages in the root directory with a different version for each of my blog.

Thank you for your help.

Not the most elegant solution, but you could add condition to pages you need to modify:

<%if(Blog.CurrentInstance.Name == "Blog1"){%>
    <do blog one>

<!-- repeat as needed -->
