In asp.net web form

site.master

 <blog:PageMenu ID="PageMenu1" runat="Server" Filter="Header" />

what do you put for the

site.cshtml  file?

After reading Rtur post: http://rtur.net/blog/post/2011/09/12/Tutorial-Building-NivoSlider-Extension-%28Part-2%29.aspx

I quess there is no easy solution for this?

I have to provide a helper instead of control for a Razor theme is this correct?

Has anyone made a  Razor helper for the PageMenu.cs yet?

so looking for a PageMenu.cshtml  file :)

I have not learn Razor yet so this is all new to me.

I'll play with it later tonight. I think best would be moving most of the logic from controls to the core library and having single helper with method for each control, so you would call from Razor page something like @Helpers.ControlsHelper.GetPageMenu().

I have been wondering about the future of BlogEngine.Net future releases.

Is BlogEngine.Net going to stay with WebForms?  or will in the future completely switch to MVC?

BE 2.5 right now is kinda like a hybrid between the two now right?  ( This is what my understanding is.)

WebForm but still using some Razor pages.

I would prefer to stick with WebForms :)

Just trying to figure out what to do for the future, if BE goes MVC then I have alot of learning to do.

Thanks,
