After the Jump

Is there a way to mark the beginning of a post as the summary that will get sent to feeds? On other blogs, I often see "After the Jump" or "Read More" or something like that in an RSS reader, then the whole post shows up when you click the link.

If this is answered elsewhere, I apologize. I tried looking for it, but couldn't find anything.

Maybe the break long posts video can help you, you can download it here: http://www.dotnetblogengine.net/page/videos.aspx

Thanks. It looks like I can just type [more] in the post. The problem with videos is they aren't searchable.

Alan,
Typing [more] could help you solve the problem. However, if I'm not mistaken, [more] is an extension that can be turned on/off in Extension admin page. There is other option you can choose from Settings admin page. You can choose to show only the post description instead of the whole post content. But, in my opinion, current implementation of this choice is not smart enough since it will cut the post content at position n arbitrarily.

It looks like the [more] option doesn't affect the feed, just the blog home page. Looks like I have some coding to do...
