Event Code 3001 - The request has been aborted

Feb 1, 2012 at 6:54 PM

Hi,

I need some help.  My host provider says my website keeps using High CPU and giving error code 3001 "The request has been aborted".  I'm running BlogEngine.net 2.5.0.6 on an IIS 7 server running ASP.NET 4 (Integrated Pipeline).  It's not a huge blog, I only have 2 blog posts, but something is happening with BlogEngine and my host provider has threatened to remove the site from their system.  All they can provide me with are these 2 error events.

Does anyone have any idea what can be causing this?  I would greatly appreciate your help.
Thanks!
Joe

Here's what my host provider sent me:

Are you using a custom theme?  If so, you may wish to use an out-of-the-box theme like Standard.

Since you only have two posts, you might want to copy them and clear out the /app_data/posts folder and get a fresh start.

Perhaps someone else will have better suggestions for you, but the forementioned won't hurt.

Good luck,
Dave

Hi Dave,

Thank you so much for replying.  Yes, it's a custom theme, but nothing elaborate.  I'll check it out again.

It's using SQL Server for the posts, so there's really nothing in the /app_data/posts folder.  But you have a good idea.  I can try starting from scratch with a clean BE 2.5 install, a new database, and the standard theme and see what happens or if I can narrow it down to something.

Thanks again for the help!
Joe
