Hyphen in title causing Ooops! I can't find the page you're looking for

I was wondering if anyone else had this problem.  Some of my old post titles which have a hyphen come to the Ooops! I can't find the page you're looking for page. Example one of my post titles is
C# - Single Application Instance.  The link in 1.3 was changed to C---Single-Application-instance.aspx and now it is the correct way, C-Single-Application-instance.aspx.  Is there a some standard rules I can follow to write code to replace the hyphens with the correct titles?

Right now to fix this I added the following code on the error page:

      if (Request.Url.AbsoluteUri.Contains("C---Single-Application-instance.aspx"))
      {
          Response.Redirect("http://kevinskorner.net/blog/post/2008/04/16/C-Single-Application-instance.aspx", true);
      }

Let me know if you have any ideas.
