Hi!

I have just downloaded BlogEngine 1.4. It works like charm. But I have a requirement in which I have to consume WCF services. So I can't use xml and Db provider.
I wanted to know that if it is possible to change it to do that? If yes then how much modification is required to do that? Could some1 help me to do that?
U are most welcome to suggest anything if U want.

Regards,
Charuk.

Hi

WCF services in vertsion 3.5 are capable of producing plain RML or RSS feeds, but I asume that you wish to consume SOAP formats?
What part of the blog data would you wish to expose over WCF?
Sorry I can't be more specific, you haven't given much detail.

Proably the best way to expose BlogEngine.net's data over WCF is to make a new Assembly that uses the BlogEngine.Core assembly and surfaces data to the WFC endpoints.

Or you wish to use the WFC service as a data source for Blogengine.net? Then write a new provider that uses the service as a backend. This can slos be done in a seperate assembly.
