Blocking requests based on UserAgent

I wrote a quick little extension that looks at the incoming request and checks the UserAgent string against a list of UserAgent Filters.  If there is a match then the user request is send a 403 (access denied) response.  I am curious if anyone finds this useful.  You can read more about it and download the extension at http://www.dscoduc.com/post/2008/07/29/Abusive-Web-Crawlers.aspx.

Cheers!
