Dear developers:

First of all, i have to say that version 1.4.5 is a fantastic update, faster and even more reliable.

I have noticed that when i insert a Textbox widget, the first letters of every word are capital letters. Is it a small bug or a feature?. How can i solve it?.

BlogEngine 1.4.5
Indigo Theme
Windows 2000 Server
SQlite 1.0.54

Is it possible that you have "text-transform:capitalize" in your style.css?

No, i am testing a fresh install before an update from 1.4.0 and text-transform:capitalize is in referrers.aspx not in style.css.
I have also noticed that the BE team have rewritten edit.ascx textbox widget!!!

Greetings, Gentlemen.

I've tested the text box widget but saw no such problem.

#widgetzone .widget .content ul {

    list-style-type: none !important;

    margin: 0 !important;

    padding: 0 !important;

    text-transform: capitalize;

That is an excerpt from themes/indigo/style.css, if you have your text inside of a unordered list it will all be capitalized (if you are using Indigo). But there is nothing that will automatically Capitalize words in the TextBox Widget or the textbox editor, it simply saves the content of the textbox(edit.ascx) and renders it as a literal(widget.ascx).

Do you have a link we can look at?

Hi Mr. joeflateau:

Your are right, i changed unordered list to ordered list, and now the widget displays the text Ok.
On the other way, is there any good tutorial about BE widget/theme development/conversion from wordpress?. I think that the wiki should focus also on it!!!

p.d: In a few days it will be up and running.
