I want to build a page that will be the home page but I want to keep the posts under the home page content, because if I mark a page that wiil be the home page, all the posts  disappear.

Creating your own home page and displaying the posts is probably the opposite of how you might approach what you're going for.  Rather than create a new page you might consider customizing the BlogEngine.NET default.aspx page.  You could specify a different .MASTER page for just the default.aspx page and add your content there.

If you were to create a new page, it would be easiest if the page were outside of blogEngine.NET, say, at http://yoursite/homepage.aspx with BlogEngine.NET at http://yoursite/blog/default.aspx.  That way you could add custom controls to display your blog posts.  That's how BlogEngine.NET content is displayed in Sueetie.  You'll see a recent posts list on the Sueetie home page at

Good luck,
