Root Element Missing

I know this has cropped up for others, but I haven't seen the answer on how to stop/fix it.

When I first load the site, is usually gives me the Root Element Missing message. And yes, refreshing the browser fixes it - for that time. And yes, I upgraded my SQL Server database from 1.4 to 1.4.5. So if there is something in the upgrade that needs to be fixed, what is it? I can make a correction if it's in the SQL layer, but I haven't seen any info on why this is happening.

Help!

I'm a little dismayed that no one has responded to this thread. I had hoped to be able to use BE as the core for my site - and to do so I really need to get rid of this problem. I can't expect first time users to know to refresh the browser every time they come to my site for the first time! Is there no one out there that has resolved this already? Is there no one out there who will at least answer the post? Is there some other place I should be asking this question?
