That looks amazing!  Great job.  Any chance this works outside of a Widget?  Also, does it work when using XML instead of a database?

Thanks!

That's a great job there!  I'm with Chris, outside the widget architechture?

I like the idea of the widget architecture, but I don't always want everything in a single column....

Excellent work anyway!

I've fought and tried, but I was never able to get this Widget to work. It told me it was having database problems even though I wanted it to use XML. I've looked through the code and I don't see where the problem would arise. Might it be that this was developed for BlogEngine.net 1.4 and I'm at 1.6?

I think you're right that the Poll widget needs updating to conform with the recent version of BE.  See this message.

could anybody plz help me actually i want new updated poll widgets folder

For everybody

I have added three new features to poll widget.

1.) Expiration Date for polls
2.) Show Results button visibility setting
3.) Polls Archive button visibility setting

Update Instructions:

1.) Download new PollWidget.zip above, extract it and replace these files:

- Poll.cs
- widget.ascx and widget.ascx.cs
- edit.ascx and edit.ascx.cs
- archivepoll.aspx

2.) If you use database, download these update scripts www.fatihsever.com/file.axd and execute appropriate script in your database manager. This script addes a new column into Poll table in BlogEngine's database.

3.) If you use xml, download this updated Poll.cs file www.fatihsever.com/file.axd and replace it.

4.) There is some new styles in poll.css, you may want to add new styles in your existing css. New styles names: .pollResult-PollClosed, .pollArchive-ArchiveButton, .pollArchive-PollClosed
