Can't Add Users

Aug 29, 2012 at 2:16 AM

I just installed BE v2.6 and for some reason, I can't add users. I fill out all the info and click save. The "add new user" window goes away and nothing. The new user is not saved.

What could the problem be?

In fact, I can't edit or delete users either. I can edit and save other settings, but not any user settings. It's like the save button doesn't do anythng at all.

Save button uses javascript to call ajax service. Try FireBug or alike to see if you getting any javascript errors.

I am trying the F12 Developer Tool for IE9 as well as the Chrome Developer Tool and I can't figure how to check for javascript errors

OK. I think I fixed it. After seeig No web service found at: /blog/api/Profile.asmx,

I checked my files and there was no API folder. I don'r know why, but I went to my original download and copied it to the server.

This Fiebug thing may come in handy.

Thanks for your help
