This file (_Layout.cshtml) is in the admin folder.

Can I Add My Google Analytics Code Here?

Would I be able to add AdSense code as well in this file between the body tag somewhere? Maybe giving it some sort of in-line CSS?

One more question/suggestion:

Every time I create a post, I would like to insert some custom metadata e.g. keywords, description, author etc.

I'm just starting to learn web design via online courses, but… I haven't gotten to any of the intermediate/advanced topics yet…

I guess you can say, I still have a tricycle… I'm not quite ready for a two wheeler with training wheels yet. :-)

I remember reading and even watching a YouTube video talking about creating custom user controls? Would using the custom user control be a good idea for the metadata?

I was just looking at the documentation on creating a custom theme. Looking at the site.master file, I noticed there was HTML markup… Would this be a better place to add the Google analytics code? Maybe even the AdSense code as well?
