I recently migrated a blog from blog.domain.com to newdomain.com/blog/

I set up blog.domain.com as a domain alias and have it issuing 301 redirects for incoming http requests.

All individual pages, posts, etc work, but when going to the root domain, blog.domain.com, the redirect results in domain.com/blog/eurl.axd/f758dd0e0925a848b928d71ab8c225d6/

Any ideas?

I did find this, which seems to be a similar issue.

Turns out the issue was with how IIS handles the requests. Not BE-related.
