Unable to send emails via smtp.live.com

I'm unable to successfully configure my instance of BE to send emails via smtp.live.com (i.e. Outlook.com).

I'm using my email address as the username, the same password that I sign into Outlook.com with, I have the SSL checkbox checked, and I've tried several different port numbers:
Port 587 - user not authenticated
Port 465 - A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond 65.55.96.11:465
Port 25 - user not authenticated

Could someone please tell me what the correct settings should be?
