For the life of me, I cannot determine where the data is stored for the Texbox widget, which is located in the widget zone. Help.

Have a look in App_Data/datastore/widgets

I did find that spot earlier but for me, it only contains what looks like two default out of the box files. None of my content is within the files at this location.

There's a file named: [GUID].xml which contains..
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <DictionaryEntry Key="content" Value="Something about the author
" />
and then there's the file named: be_WIDGET_ZONE.xml which contains..
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
  <widget id="1ef27b78-0218-420c-bfda-038163510def" title="About the author" showTitle="True">TextBox</widget>
  <widget id="42fcbe7c-2c9c-440a-bad9-65a94472fccc" title="Administration" showTitle="True">Administration</widget>
  <widget id="fb38ecdd-5813-4d10-8c5f-8d901c7c731e" title="Search" showTitle="True">Search</widget>
  <widget id="ab2b8c27-02c4-46ab-a78f-28939c2a1a09" title="Month List" showTitle="True">Month List</widget>
  <widget id="dc246169-0320-459f-a181-0f7f423dfbb5" title="Page List" showTitle="True">Page List</widget>
  <widget id="f3f65f28-8110-4eff-89ea-5428bc86c823" title="Blogroll" showTitle="True">Blogroll</widget>
  <widget id="a7d968b2-00e1-49d0-8576-2e54fa2e5e29" title="Newsletter" showTitle="True">Newsletter</widget>
And if I follow the trail of the GUID in this file for TextBox (the same as the other accompanying file), I cannot find a trace of it. But yet on my site, my content is there and displaying as I want it to.

That looks correct for XML storage, a widget zone file containing references to xml files named with Guid.
Looks like somebody set up an "About Me" text box at some point adding the text "Something about the author(new line)"

Are you using storage other than default XML?
I use XML as storage provider, so not all that well up on database side of things, but I think for a database it might be table "be_DataStoreSettings".

Using SQL database. I also checked the DataStore table and didn't see anything that represents what I am looking for.

Nevermind.. I did find it in the database after converting the Settings field to something readbable, like varchar. Thanks for the attempting to help.
