How to Cut Down On Comment Spam?

Hi

I get so much spam in my comments area? Is there a way I can greatly reduce this? I get like 200+ spam comments within a few days.

I do have the option that comments need to be approved first but still I got to come and clean it up every few days as some fall in the "pending" area which I get emails for.

Is there no captcha or something?

Hi

I am running 1.5 and I don't see the edit button.

Also how do I enable all 3 spam services. I apparently have 2 running but only 1 has captured stuff(the 2nd one) and the 3rd one is not checked. However everything is grayed out and I can't check it.

I don't think 1.5 had spam protection features, it was added at 1.6 and improved over time.

Sorry, I actually have 2.8 thought for some reason when you talked to 1.6 that was the newest version out and I thought I had the version before that lol.
