Deploying on local host for LAN

Well to start off i'm not much of a geek programmer but did learn ASP.NET through resources online. One thing I could not find is deploying a ASP.Net application on a computer so that it can be used as a LAN application.
To make it more clear our company is of 200 employees each having their individual PCs, all connected through LAN. We have server which is primarily used as file sharing server. I want to deploy / install / host (whatever it is called) on this machine and make it accessible on all the systems in my office LAN. I saw the video on blogengine site and i'm pretty sure that I followed all the steps shows. It works fine when i use it on the local machine (i.e. http://localhost/blogengine works fine.) But when I try to access it from other systems (i.e. doesn't work).
Can anybody tell me where i'm doing it wrong.
The browser says - Connection interrupted - (after waiting for a while)

Thank you in advance.
