I'm planning on creating a WCF webservice that allows a user to create, update, and delete blog posts from their mobile phone. I have a question before I get started that I hope someone can answer.

How does the List<Post> object get updated? Would the webservice methods simply call the same BE methods (Save(), Delete(), etc)?

Are there any issues I might run into?

BE uses web api, which can be enhanced to make external calls over CORS (something like this). That was the plan from the beginning, just not there yet. So I would guess this will be easier than using WCF.

By the way, I would really love to have phone app to manage only comments, plain and simple. Kind of typical mail client, only for comments.

I'm using BE 1.6. Would I still use web api and CORS?

No, 1.6 was released over 4 years ago.
