Help - Cannot install in a subdirectory with MVC root

Jun 4, 2014 at 8:53 AM
Hi all,

I have been trying to install this blog on a subfolder in Azure. In the root folder there is an MVC application. Unfortunately I have been trying till yesterday and everytime that I fix an error another one pops up. I am sure it is because it resides under an MVC application because when I do it in its own folder it works.

So now I have restarted everything from scratch and the first error is that the Current Page Type is not served. So I changed web.config to enable webpages but then it tells me to specify specific Web pages version. If I fix this another error will show.

So basically if anyone has had some experience of how to do this I would reallpy appreciate.

I think its fixed. You need to do <location path="." inheritInChildApplications="false"> on all web.config inside parent application.
