Hi all,

is it possible to translate the BlogEngine to another language and which file would it be?
If it is possible, I will translate it to Croatian language so maybe it will be useful for someone else from Croatia that uses this great application.

Thank you

In the App_GlobalResources folder is where all the translations are.  Each translation file has the country code in the filename.  E.g.,,, labels.zh-CN.resx, etc.

If you make a copy of one of these files, and use the Croatian country code in the filename, you can add translations for that language.  I usually just open these files up in a text editor to edit them.

Actually, the most complete file is probably the labels.resx file which contains the English translations.  The other translation files might not have all the translations in them.  So it would probably be best to copy the labels.resx file and change the translations to Croatian using that file.

Once you make a copy of the file and give it the appropriate name, if you were to go into the Settings tab within BE's control panel, the "Choose language" dropdown list should contain the Croatian language (if the file is named correctly).  Thanks.
