Need help on Blog Relocation

Hi there,

I try desesperely to connect BlogEngine to my website using the form

Using the WEB source, everything works well when installing data in the root (ie /) - I can access posts and admin. => Everything is working in this case.

Checking threads on Internet (and this blog !), I move all data to /blog/ except specific files and update links from "~/" to "~/blog/". Building the website (with VS2013) shows me no error.
However, when I try to run it, I keep getting the error "Directory does not exist. Parameter name: directoryVirtualPath"

is there anything else I need to change in order to get this blog as part of my website ? do I need to use the 'source' package and recompile it ?

I'm using the latest version (3.1) under ASP 4.5

Thanks for your help,

Hi Frederic,

/blog/ <--- Needs to be a Virtual Application (It needs it own application pool)

When you have it at it works ok because it has it's own application pool.

But when you moved it to /blog it is sharing the application pool with

BE does not like that :)

Hi Frederic,

No problem :)

Having install over 100's of BE websites you learn a thing or two.

Anytime you have issue post here and someone will figure it out.
