Is there way away to turn off the RSS ability?

We're going to use this for an internal webpage but no one will be subscribing to it using RSS.  Is there anyway to turn off the RSS options so the icons do not show up at all?  I'm trying to make it a simple as we can.

Which RSS icons do you mean?  The one's a browser shows in the address bar area?

Links to the RSS feeds are injected into the page from the BlogBasePage class in the BE Core.  Browsers find those links and display the RSS icon up in the address bar/toolbar area.

You could remove that code from BlogBasePage and re-compile the BE Core project to stop those links from showing up in the HTML.

If you are talking about the RSS on the footer of every post, you can remove that from the PostView.ascx under the themes,

    <a rel="nofollow" href="<%=CommentFeed %>">Post RSS<img src="<%=VirtualPathUtility.ToAbsolute("~/pics/")%>rssButton.gif" alt="RSS comment feed" style="margin-left:3px" /></a>

This is what you can comment or delete to remove that
