Content Encoding Error (content_encoding_error)

Jun 19, 2009 at 7:30 PM

When I click quite a number of things in the application I receive the following error:

Content Encoding Error (content_encoding_error)

Server response could not be decoded using encoding type returned by server.
This is typically caused by a Web Site presenting a content encoding header of one type, and then encoding the data differently.

For assistance, contact your network support team.

One example of this would be trying to add a user, or change the password of a user. It also happens if I try to remove someone from the blogroll.

This is a sub application configured as a virtual directory, nested under a CMS. I have configured the Web.Config to use ~/blog/ as the proper path. Everything else seems to work with these odd exceptions.
