In BlogEngine.NET is there a way to pre-post a blog post so that the post will not become live until a give time and date?

Yes, when creating the post, you can set a date/time.  Set the date/time to a future date.  After saving it, you'll still see the post while you're logged in.  But others won't be able to see the future-dated post until that date/time has arrived.  Leave the "Published" box checked.

Thanks I will try that, do you know if this function works with “Windows Live Writer”?

Hi BenAmada, I just testing pre-posting a blog post.

From the BlogEngine interface this works as you state..

With Live Writer, BlogEngine will ignore the publish date used within Live Writer. As part of my testing I confirmed that community server (CS) will use the publish date within Live Writer. Any chance of getting that fixed?
