Hi Everybody,

I have small blog here : http://www.aristo-samar.com/blognet/

I have it nicely build for some time. Yesterday, I wished to check how other blog themes look like. I checked all of them and closed the IE.

I don't remember pressing Save Changes button !!!

Next day I go to check my blog and what I see?

No links on right side of the blog, no comments, no even place to login to admin panel?

What I have done with it, I don't know...

Please have a look and if you know how to change it to previous shape I would really, really, *really* appreciate it...

Did you use a standard Blogengine theme ?

You are running an older version 1.4 from Blogengine.NET !  Time to upgrade...

The solution.... walk to App_Data dir and open with Notepad "settings.xml"

In a first look you see there a theme like.... <theme>newspaper</theme>  (mine)

Change that to your original theme and save the file...

Wish you luck Mariusz....

Let us know if this solve your problem...otherwise we have to search further...

Hi hermsen,

Thank you very much for reply and advice.

I use BlogNet

Though, I didn't try it yet because having waiting for reply I have asked my hosting provider to override blognet folder from a backup copy.

They did it straight away and it solved te problem.

I will remeber your advice anyway for future when get in similar trouble again.

I will think about upgrade (one thing I miss now in my blog engine is highliting pieces of code in posts - to meke them look different)

Thanks again and best regards
