I would like to use Vistadb as my back-end for BlogEngine 1.5.  Is there documentation on setting this up?

There is some information in the setup folder of your BlogEngine download to get you started.

That said, there is no longer an Express version of VistaDB.  If you don't own VistaDB, I'm not exactly sure what options you have.

Great resources.  I followed the instructions in the "readme" file in the "setup\Vistadb" folder and it worked as-advertised.  I own a later version of vistaDb so I had to change the version number that appears in the web.config file, but no big deal.

I afterward tried to delete the xml files in the app_data folder since the database was being used instead, but the blog didn't like this and bombed.  I had to put them back, put the old web.config in, refresh the blog, then re-replace the web.config with the database version.  As long as I don't kill the xml files it works great.
