Unordered Lists <ul> <li> on BE Pages?

Is there anyway to put a numbered list (or bulleted list) on a BE page?  With mce editor and with livewriter, my list codes were stripped.  Am I missing something?

Ok, the theme I am using clears all default styling for everything li, ul, div, h1, etc. at the top of its CSS page.  So, I just needed to re-style the li codes (or quit clearing the defaults) and everything is good.  I post this, just in case it happens to some other newbie.

Hi car,

With CSS, the more specific the better to get what you want from the styling.  If you create a CSS rule that applies only to the <div> where the text of the post is, it will style the list items ( <li> tags) in the posts, but not in other places on the page.  This CSS rule:

.text li{color: red;}

would say to just color the list items in the post text red because the <div> around the posts is given a class of "text".

Best Wishes,
