Hi, I've just started a new blog based on BlogEngine.NET. http://www.rivero.org, You will see that I have also adapted terrafirma theme, I will post it to download soon.

My question, is about I'm having a strange problem, that I don't know wheter it's caused by my code or by my hosting provider (godaddy). When I acces the site with IE it works perfect, but when I do it with firefox, it doesn't render the whole page, sometimes just a part, or even nothing. Any idea about this??

Hi rivero, I did a fast check on your issue and the problems happens as you describe it.
I also use Firefox LiveHttpHeader and Fillezilla and the file http://www.rivero.org/blog.js is not found. I'm not sure if this break the page rendering in firefox but give a try. point the javaScript file in the masterPage on themes to the right path.

Good luck.

Hi Victor,

I checked into your issue tonight and I didn't see anything in the HTML that would cause Firefox to choke like it does until I did a view source from Firefox. (The view source from IE looks great.)

In Firefox, it often doesn't allow me to view source, but once the request went through and it had a bunch of GoDaddy scripts in it. That makes me think it is a GoDaddy issue. I know there is a trust issue with their hosting. (Did you remove that line from the web.config?)

Anyway, if you post your theme, I'd be glad to give it a try on my hosting provider to confirm the theory. Once we confirm it is a GoDaddy issue, we can focus on getting it to work from there.

Yes I think you are right RazorAnt, I checked my website on a local server with firefox and it works perfectly. I will change or upgrade my hosting provider, since this problem seems to be caused by godaddy advertising scripts, as you said. I removed the trust=High line on Web.config, but everything else seems to work fine, so I think it's just that bunch of godaddy scripts .

UPDATE : I solved the problem, upgrading my hosting account, so I got those annoying scripts out. Thanks for your help!

I have already posted the terrafirma theme here http://www.rivero.org/post/BlogEngineNET.aspx, hope it works fine!

I also have a godaddy account and fixed one problem by removing the trust=High line in the web.config, but now when I go to sign in for the first time am getting the following error:

Validation of viewstate MAC failed. If this application is hosted by a Web Farm or cluster, ensure that <machineKey> configuration specifies the same validationKey and validation algorithm. AutoGenerate cannot be used in a cluster.

Thanks,
Adam
