I tried with this:

but is not working, can somebody help me?

Hello, I have a BE 2.8.0.1 blog that runs on IIS 7.5 with MySQL. The database have around 20MB and 32000 rows of data. I am moving my site to a VPS from a shared hosting at Godaddy.

While on the shared hosting I detected that when the app pool restarted, my website become unresponsive aroung 5 to 10 minutes. Now on the VPS I can tell what is going on with BlogEngine.net behind scenes.

Testing the site on the new server, I detected the problem. Every time the IIS worker process restart, the CPU runs at 100% for several minutes (at minute 5, I restarted the MySQL process to avoid the overload of the server).
I checked that it was the MySQL server process that is consuming the CPU, and checked that the DB server was receiving a lot of queries from the worker process. Also the worker process associated with BE got hanged in the process.

I don't know what is happening, behind scenes, but seems like BE is scanning all the database records or something before publish the website, but in the process is hanging the MySQL server.

But with another more small blog, I don't have this problem. Please I need some help, I don't know if this is a BE issue related to working with a big database or another issue.

I've installed a new BlogEngine site from the source respository, 10244e5873fd
I've added the SQL Server tables from the setup directory for the File Storage, MSSQLFileStoreTables2.5.sql
I've added a post, and added an attachment, and this has clearly been successful. The file is in the underlying table.
However, when clicking the link in the post, I get the Oops message.
The file's link created is
http://www.mydomain.co.uk/mydirectory/FILES/2012/03/TestTextFile.axdx
and it does not resolve. Just gets an error

Switching back to XML storage also has the File Manager working fine.
But the link in the post is still not working.
So perhaps the issue is with URL rewriting

Yes, it is. If I change the link to
..../file.axd?file=2012/3/TestTextFile.txt, it works
Well, at least I have a work-around!

I just upgraded to 2.8. I followed the exact instructions by starting with a fresh install etc. I still get this issue:

Its still writing the URL wrong... this is the correct URL: (Close)

http://my.?????.com/??????/forum/file.axd?file=2013%2f05%2fX%27s+and+O%27s+Women%27s+Merchandising.pdf

Whats the deal? (note the ?????? I replaced)

More like "inconclusive", app not tested under web balancing. Sure I can guess there would be issues, but only way to say "yes" or "no" is actually try it.

I have a webfarm and need to flow incoming connections across servers.
The requirement is to have the blog under the primary domain for Google SEO benefits.
Hence the need to spread it.

I could host it ( in a non redundant way ) but that requires another domain and Google treats it differently.

So do I take your reply as No to my requirement
