This project is read-only.

Steps to deploy BlogEngine.NET 2.0 to Azure:

  1. Download BE 2.0 web application solution:
  2. Add an azure project to your solution and create a web role for the BE site
  3. Create a web database in azure.
  4. Execute sql creation script:
  5. Publish azure project
  6. Log on and switch comments to Disqus

Alternative solution:

Using fork

  1. Setup Folder has the SQL you need to Execute
  2. AspReg folder has the SQL for Role/Providers/Common
  3. Just run the solution, then Publish and Upload

First solution doesn't work, alternative solution does. Need install MVC 3 and include a bunch of dlls. Since BlogEngine doesn't work in cloud with XML data store, you can use this tool by Al Nyveldt( to migrate your existing blogs in XML to db. Thank you very much, EXHD. good work!
