Path of the web project in the solution

Hello,
Maybe this cannot be done, but do you think that you could change the projects paths in the BlogEngine.sln solution so that we can open it directly once extracted? Right now it cannot find the web project. Maybe it's because I'm using vs2k5 without web project patch and without sp1...

The path used right now is:
"E:\...\BlogEngine.NET\", "..\..\WebSites\BlogEngine.NET"

Thank you...

You should be able to do that any way. Extract the source code to where ever you want it and then open the solution. It will complain about paths and then should be okay to compile (I tried it without the service pack on VS2k5, worked fine).

You will probably want to create the IIS virtual directory for it so you can compile and then publish the files to the IIS Web Server.

Hello,
thanks I agree with you. it does compile but you do not have the web project included.
And also I do not have IIS installed on my computer and refuses to have it.
Anyway I can just add the web project to my solution, but was just noting that it would be nice to have it work right out the box for everyone.
Thanks again.
