Maybe my username should be "controlled_floundering" nevertheless I like BE a lot. I got it to work first try and have been learning lots from the help sites.

However, I can't find it said clearly enough for me to cognate how one sets localhost/blogengine to one's DDNS url. I am using Win 7, IIS 7, ASP.net 4 (I believe, I have a half dozen installed trying to get WP to work), and BE 1.6.0. I've also installed SSMS, WPI and MS Vis Studio 2010 Xpress not that I know how to use them...but wp really had me going.

My port forwarding is set and the DynDNS tool says it can see me. But when I type my url from another computer, my neighbor's DNS can't find my blog.

I'm sure it's simple because nobody else is asking.

Thanks again,

Peter

PS: How come people's posts don't wrap in codeplex discussions? I've tried 3 browsers and the result is the same in all of them.
