Hi all! I'm a newbie to using BlogEngine, and editing ASP.NET files (although I have a fair amount of experience with html). Currently I'm working on modifying an existing theme.

What I'd like to know if there is a way to replace the little wrench icon with a custom favicon (like you can easily do on normal html pages)? I've gone in and edited the place in the site.master and the admin.master where it looks like the favicon.ico code should go (and uploaded the .ico file), but it only replaced the standard wrench icon in the RSS feed, and not on the actual page.

This might sound like an obvious question, but I've searched the various forums and Google, and can't seem to find the answer. Can anyone help? Thanks!

In your site.master file, remove or modify the following line:

<link rel="shortcut icon" href="~/pics/blogengine.ico" type="image/x-icon" />

And you might have to clear the browser cache after you changed the icon reference in order to load the new one successfully into the browser.

Thank you VERY much Scott & Klaus! I figured it was a simple answer, that I just wasn't seeing for the trees! :-)
