How to delete std 'welcome' post?

Snippets from error on trying to delete the standard post installed with the package copied below: is there a kludge to remove it manually, since Mads doesn't have a profile on my machine (see stack trace).
I've already set the permissions correctly for the ASP.net process and can delete my own posts.

In the absence of any clues here, I bodged it by editing the XML database manually. Sorted.
