Multiple Instances of BlogEngine Problem

I am trying to run several independent instances of BlogEngine.NET on the same machine.

I first configured several IPs on the same WS2008 box. I then created a number of web sites under IIS and assigned a different IP to each one. The configuration works. That is, when I type the multiple hostnames, each goes to the right web site. The corresponding IIS website.

The error I received was complaining about a duplicate sectionGroup in the config file. I started removing the entries. When I removed the ones below, the site(s) started to work.

ScriptingScriptResourceHandlerSection
ScriptingJsonSerializationSection
ScriptingProfileServiceSection
ScriptingAuthenticationServiceSection
ScriptingRoleServiceSection

The problem is now I am experiencing some odd behavior. I can post and edit but changing passwords and themes is ignored. I get the form, fill the info, but when I click to submit nothing happens.

Any ideas?

Any thoughts as to whether the behavior is related to multiple instances?

By the way, I also have a WordPress instance running on one of the WebSites (no problems there).
